Default Ordering some stuff Monday

Okay, so I'm getting a couple mods monday. I am buying a set of 17's from a 2000 ss with tires all in great shape for 500$. I am also finishing out the rest of my exhaust with a hooker 3" cb. I already have the hooker super comp lt's 1 3/4", and the 3" ory. I am having trouble deciding which of these to buy though. It's either a 3" electric cutout or a diablo tuner. Its a toss up on those two. What do you guys think?

Have thought of dyno tune, but that will come later when I stall and gear and put a built tranny and rear end and suspension mods. These are just for the bolt-ons and such. I won't be getting all of those things for a while, so the tuner may help me pick up a few ponies until that point.

How much are you going to spend on a tuner? Spend a couple extra bucks and get a real tune on a dyno.

Exactly. You'll probably spend an extra $50 on a real tune which will yield far better results than a hand held.

You guys are right about only spending about 50 more for a dyno tune, but I live about 4 hrs from the nearest tuner, and I have a really hard time getting off of work. Trust me, I am going to get it dyno tuned, just not yet.

There is a shop in W.F. that does tunes but I haven't been there I would just take a lil trip to the DFW(RPM,SQR,etc.) area of Lubbock to TSP.I wouldn't get a diablo tuner I didn't like it that's just me why do you think I basically gave my old one to brandon it didn't do anything but cause problems. I'm not saying it's not a good product it just didn't work out for me but let me know what you do.

Put the money toward the stall, then get a tune after.
