Anyone done this, know if it fits? I heard maybe the mounting hangers are slightly moved on an LS1 car from the LT1's...
Found an absolute steal on a hooker catback... But it was for an LT1, how much modification would be required to get it to fit?

Any catback that is for a dual cat `95-97 LT1 should work on an LS car.
Hangers are in the same position aswell as the Ypipe connection.
The early single cat LT1 cars use a different intermediate pipe.

From the back seat to the back, 1982 - 2002 F-bodies have the same layout. All you would have to do is cut the early model exhaust near the merge collector to make it work on a 1998-2002 model. This applies to even adding a 3rd gen catback onto a 1998-2002 model.
