Default How can you make your car wheelie?

I think it would look pretty cool if you could get the front end of your car to raise up a bit and do a little wheel stand. What would make this possible? ...stall, drag radials, lca?

post in the FI or Nitrous section and you will have your answer quicker than in general.

I would do it like this. 800rwhp. Built auto with a transbrake, big slicks. With other supporting mods should give you your wheelstand.

i'd like the front end of the car to eventually lower down so I'm not exactly sure that a floor jack would work...lol. I wouldn't want it to wheelie Fast and Furious Style.

Yea.....I used to be able to pull the wheels with my old mans 455 Olds wagon with the neutral drop trick (NOT)

If any body tries this go ahead and put FLT, Performabuilt etc... on speed dial

I say this only half jokingly because I saw it in my earlier days. AMAZING what a TH 400 will actually take

From what I have seen though 475RWHP and a dead hook will usually pull a couple inches on a stock suspension. Don't worry bout times worry bout how fast ya go

I dont think 320 is going to do it. Maybe with a 100 shot, 9 inch or 12 bolt, the biggest softest slicks you can fit and a big stall. It might be enough to lift the front left tire. Im no expert im just trying to think of what it should take.

you can do something with 320 HP.....hope and pray. You'll need quite a suspension, big tire....and a power adder or big cubes.

If you're on a stock 10 bolt, you'll need to be doing this soon after:

Okay.. so I saw the picture.. and just really really wanted to use it..

You dont need a TON of power, Ive heard of guys doin it with around 400 HP. Its all in the tires suspension and weight ratio. You could have 2000 horsepower but if you have bad tires and stock suspension your just going to spin

My buddys low power LT1 could get the drivers side tire about 6".
it was a 6spd LT1 Z28 vert. with only:
LT headers
NX 100shot
28" ET drags/ skinnys up front
bumper support and weight pulled off the nose.
the secret was a mixture of the MADMAN TQ ARM, 9" W/4.33 gears and dumping the clutch at 5,000+RPM LOL

his car hooked so well we shattered the 3rd member in the 9" and had to go nodular. and in all honestly he pulled a lot of weight out and had too much gear in it(for a basicly bone stock motor). it pulled 1.49-1.51 60's and raped in the 1/8th going 7.0's but it would fall off in the 1/4 running 11.5's
