Since everyone has been having bad luck...
With crashing their F-bodies, I just want to tell everybody to be safe.
My good friend who owned a stock 02 Formula, and worked his *** off for it, just totaled his car going 60mph. He walked away without a freaking scratch, so thank God for that. I'm real happy he made it out fine, but it's a wake up call.

I'm very glad he is OK, too.
He was about 6-5 miles away from home, and traveling on a single lane highway to his house from Seattle (where I live at and he was visiting his friends, so I saw him the day before.)
The speed limit is 55mph, and he was traveling around 60mph. It was raining out at night, and he was in 5th gear, and when he went over a crest of a hill at 60mph the rear end slid out. I still think he hit a oil spot or SOMETHING, because he was in 5th gear going 60. It's stock, you can't really whip the rear end out doing that even in the rain.
Long story short he spun around twice, and then hit a freaking telephone pole going 55mph with the rear of the car (since it was spinning).
Pretty much if he hit the pole with any other angle of the car he'd be in a different situation right now. Broke the headrest and the back part of the seat off, too.

Holy cow, that's a miracle he wasn't harmed. I've personally seen a 240z hit a telephone pole like that before and it was not pretty. Both kids were flung into the air, one landed on the pavement and started shaking, the other was flung on a bank and the telephone pole landed on him. I'm so glad your friend's alright.

Good to hear your friend was ok. Crashes like this will wake you up. I crashed a bike at 120+. I wasn't hurt THAT bad, and it woke me up.
I almost got in an accident the other day, because I guess she didn't see the big stop sign in front of her. I didn't have a stop sign and she just kept going and she almost ran right into my passenger door.

Not hijacking, but that looks like that car version of my 2004 Sierra Denali, truck only had 55k miles on it and was payed for. I payed 16K for it, insurance gave me a check for 15k and thats how I bought my Comp TA. My brother was ******* around in my truck lost control and hit the poll at 30mph...I was pissed off He told me a deer jumped out in front of him. Never let family or friend barrow your vehicles
PS. you can kind of see my tailgate hanging off the back. Whole rear half of the truck was completely bent at an angle.

Is that patches of snow I see on the ground? If so, that's what he probably hit, a patch of snow in the road. But good to know that your friend is alright.

You can too lose control in a patch of snow. Snow is ice, just in a more broke down application. His tread on his tires look good.
