Any one have rear cut off Battery Switch on there F body please post pics........

i had my switch installed and the guy put my switch on the bumper and i really dont care for the look....at all

safety. If its a drag car, if you go a certain speed you are required to have a battery cut off switch. Its in case there is a fire in the engine bay, you can cut the power to the battery killing the engine and accessories (including fuel pump).

i think you have to have one if the battery is in the rear too

but hte only ones ive seen on these cars that dont suck are the ones that come out right beside the liscense plate, they really blend in pretty well and thats the only way id do it

Yeah, you can put it anywhere on the rear as long as it's visible, and there is a ON/OFF label. When I started running high 10's at the track, they told me don't come back without a cutoff switch. My battery is in the back also. I'm not sure how fast you have to go to need a switch, but I would say ask a track official.
