Once you start making some power you'll see just how weak the stock a4 is, it only took one 1/4 mile pass on nitrous to make mine slip so bad it wouldnt shift under wot, just bang off the revlimiter

look again I ran those times with the stock a4 now I have a stage 2 street/strip from xtreme trans, plus a circle d 4c stall (3600-3800) and a speedinc sfi flexplate. I have ran a 125 shot a few times but am sticking to the 100 until I get it tuned. Just a tip so you dont get flamed dont call it "nos" call it nitrous, spray, juice the jug etc.

because nos is a brand name, not the actual nitrous. NOS=Nitrous Oxide Systems. Ricers use the term NOS as being interchangeable with Nitrous, when in fact it is not.

I can't believe nobody has said a good catback! In order to stay near your budget (about an extra hundred) I'd get a local exhaust shop to make you a good custom true dual setup. You'll get a crazy good sound out of then, and before you know it you'll be doing headers/y pipe to be even louder

Well I guess the first question is what is she willing to spend?

I'm always the suspension first advocate around here (after exhaust of course). Torque arm, lower control arms and lowering brackets, panhard bar and subframe connectors. Your car will feel completely different and actually put the power to the ground. Plus all those parts are relatively inexpensive.

That's not so much of an issue anymore. You will need to choose between 2 point and 3 point style as well as bolt in vs weld in. I personally think 2 point is fine for everybody but the race guys. The racers will probably need the extra assurance the SFC's won't come off but if you're mainly just a DD or cruiser the bolt in's are fine. I also have the 2 points SFC's and they work just fine but the 3 point ones obviously stabilize the car a lot more. I have UMI 2 point SFC's and the bolts are just as tight as they I put them on. They really do stiffen the car up a lot and I have ZERO complaints about them.

Well I wouldn't spring for the cheapest. Inexpensive maybe but just remember you get what you pay for.
