Default Which engine do I have? 4.8/5.3 or 6.0
I bought a motor for a project and was told it was from a 2003 Yukon Denali AWD. I was told it was a 6.0. It has the 6.0 plastic covers. When I looked at the block, back right, it is stamped 4.8/5.3? I was expecting it to say 6.0. What should it say?

those are 5.3's i believe, are they 706 heads?

All Yukon denali's came with LQ4 6.0s.

I would be fine with a LQ4 but I am guessing this is a 5.3. Where any 6.0 stamped 5.3 on the back side? I am going to check my heads tomorrow.
