I found a 08 C6 Vette w/ 5,879 for $35,000 @ Carmax and a 06 Z06 W/ 55,486 for $38,000 in Florida so i would look into a C6 Z06 or a LS3 Vette.

I've gotten more thumbs-up with a POS Corvette on a trailer back to the house then I've gotten in years with the Z28.

I'd go for the Vette.

I'm a little biased, but C5Z all the way. The "retro" 5thGen does nothing for me and it's way too heavy.
