Used to have an LT1... Now those are a PITA.

Doing the LS's after that... piece of cake. Like stated earlier, remove coilpacks it gives you more room.

+1 I agree....the rear plug on the passenger side is usually easier to get from the bottom as well

My first (and only) time took me about half hour or so for the driver's side, and about 2 hours or so for the passenger's side. I work slow though, I took a few breaks.

I can probably cut that time in at LEAST in half next time I do it.

I spent alot of time messing with the coil rail bolts. I just had a bitch of a time getting to the back two, so after a while I said the hell with it. I just put the front ones back in and left the coil rail alone. Turns out it really wasn't in the way anyway.

I got the number 8 plug and wire in and out from underneath.

It takes me between 20 and 30 minutes, so no vote from me. But I have no A/C and a lot of other junk out of the way so its a lot easier. The last time I did it it took 2 hours since I dropped a plug and broke it and had to get a ride to the autozoo to get another.

Mine has all the emmisions **** taken off, So i can easily get the front 3 on each side easy. But i have to get underneath my car from weird angles to get the back 1 on each side out. My first change took me about 1hr-2hrs now its down to about an hour

It can suck with a stock engine bay. Once you get your method down and which tools to use where its not bad. Once stuff come out of the engine bay it gets real easy. with the heater and ac out its a piece of cake

did mine yesterday. Drivers side takes literally 10 minutes and the rest of the time is on the passengers side. Use a swivel spark plug socket and take off the last two coil packs.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:23 PM.
