Re-Badging Question

I took the badges off my doors to paint them black and I’m wondering what’s the best product to glue them back on that won’t do any damage to the paint if I decide to take them off again later?

3M Scotch Molding Tape. There's nothing better and you can get it pretty much anywhere

At least around here (MA) you can get it at any autozone, advanced auto, walmart, napa, etc.

i would make sure its specifically for molding/emblems and such......Or just duct tape them on

what did they use from the factory to keep the badges on? and what would be closest to that product?

3M is the best choice and its only like 4-5 dollars for a pack. You know those bug deflectors and sunroof deflectors...those are held on by 3m tape, if it can hold those on im pretty sure it will be more then overkill for badges. Just remember to CLEAN the area, if the area is dirty or has wax or other crap on it, it might eventually come off, as long as you get it on a clean surface the only way its goin to come off will be with adhessive remover
