alright guys now that summer is here im plannin on finally takin my car to the track, now ive never taken any of my cars to the track so im not familiar with this issue. iv ehad the rear seat removed from my 01 ws6 for quite some time now because i was going to school for six hours a day and working for eight and used the hour between to catch a nap in the car before work (cuz the seats lay flat). now ive come to like it without the seats and dont want to put them back in but the track says you hafta have the seats installed or a sheet metal covering or trunk bulkhead installed?
what is this sheet metal covering? anyone have pics of what the heck this is? and is it sumthing i could make or hafta buy

also the track is ORP in indy just in case anyone else goes there and knows if they even care or check these things

Sounds like they may be talking about cars with an actual trunk, not a hatchback like ours. You could go down there one night and find out what you need to do to be track legal.
