Now that pontiac is gone?
You think our cars will be any more valuable? I noticed that I've gotten a shitload more compliments now then I did when pontiac was still alive LOL. It also helps that I have a semi clean car too. Yeah it's got it's blemishes here and there but all in all the cars in great shape.

I think that is about right. I think trying to find one at a dealer is going to be a bit more pricey for the TAs that are in great condition. I am thinking in 5-6 years or so that you wont find one at a dealer for under $20k in my opinion. I was debating about getting rid of the 01 WS6, but only paid 14k for it. If I sell it and go back after another one, no way in hell will I find one in that condition for that price again. Pending if some other foreign company doesn't buy the Pontiac rights from GM...

Considering they stopped making Firebirds 7 years ago, I don't see how the death of Pontiac will effect it either way.
I think it's going to be a LONG time before any of these cars really appreciate, and even then the only ones that are going to are the rare ones, like the Firehawk, 30th edition, CETA, and maybe WS6 Formulas, and even then only ones in very clean condition.

It's all about supply and demand. There weren't that many Trans Ams made in the first place, compared to camaro's, mustang's, or corvette's. So in saying that finding low mileage nice ones is going to be harder and harder to come by so they will bring a premium and only go up with time. Now the DD's with 80K plus miles will probably reach a plateau for a little while until they begin to climb in price. Hell think about the 77 T/A's those pieces of garbage are bringing premiums these days. So yes they will go up in value, but not due to pontiac being axed.
