gracias Elias. I already have the stock intake. I'm planning on keeping the car and will probably eventually get a slp intake sometime soon. I just never got around to getting one. christ!

Oh come on, give the guy a break. He tried something different. I made a cold air kit for my old 9C1 out of a 4" exhaust tip, some fiberglass mat and weather stripping off the trunk of a junker and it came out pretty well:

I chopped my intake back in the day but never went that far, I only took the baffles off and sealed them up, that is a little extreme. AgentLS1Z, put the lid back on it, it makes more power that way I bet. I will be one not to raze you fella

Where would we be today if the origional hot rodders hadn't made speed parts in thier garages. Folks gave them a heap of shi+ also. Some things worked, a lot of them didn't. If you've never fabed up a part, shut up. If you have, you probably have built at least one that didn't work.

Props for tryin, I'm not going to do it though.

Do you guys think this mod can get me into the 11's? If so I'm headed to Lowes for $5 worth of dryer duct and some duct tape, who's going with me?
