whats the going rate for a LS1 or LQ4? wanting to get a LSX series engine or possibly a 6.0 LQ4 for my project. I live in the portland oregon area and it seems most yards want $3500-4000 for an LS1. is that a decent price? I don't mind paying for shipping if a motor i want is not in my area.

wow your not far from me! i live near cresent city ca. I would keep your eye out for an ls1 on here. I might have a 6.0 vortec with 70k if you want that... i was thinking of putting it in my 95 camaro but i would rather just stay with the lt1 if i can.
