whats are you 408 guys seeing mpg? city/hwy? just curious....

Sorry, just had to laugh a little...when I built mine mpg was out the window. I just went through 2 tanks and just got a dyno tune. I estimate 12-14.

If you gotta ask you cant afford it.

I would be happy with ~9-10 with a 408.

It will be horrible. My H/C/I 346 M6 gets great highway mileage, but I'm rarely on the highway. With letting it warm up for 10 minutes in my driveway and cruising the city, I get 13-15 MPG, if that. If you're planning a 408 for DD you're going to be shelling out a ton of money on gas.

dont assume what i can and cannot afford. i appreciate the answer but not the insult

not really considering it for a DD ill keep my explorer for that, im not really too considered with the price of gas either i just dont want something absolutely retarded on gas. and the way this car is looking thats how it is, theres plenty of power to be made if i just ran forced induction on a stock bottom end

I get about 125 miles to the tank right now. I am in the breakin period so it tuned really rich, cant wait to get another 175 on it to get it tuned and dynoed.
