Actually, it could've been. Terminators dyno anywhere from 370-390rwhp bone stock. While 390rwhp is a little on the high side of that area, it's still possible. You also have to factor in the weather conditions and how accurate the dyno was, that it was on. Some dynos are quite generous. Just like a local one to me. A 2000 T/A with a 6speed, and nothing but a muffler delete, put down 357rwhp, and a 98 Cobra with just drop-in mufflers put down 32Xrwhp. Obviously, it's extremely generous.

x2, my 5.4L s/c puts down 390 with a 6 pound lower and 425 on a race tune, no way was it stock
supras are under rated as well IMO some people are believers, but next time i hear "dyno queen" im gonna bash my head until im retarded too, built they are known to go 8.45 in the 1/4 and top speeds of 250+ i wouldnt say thats a dyno queen

The 03-04 Cobra most definitly was underrated.....my BONE stock 03 snake put down 379 rwhp two days after i bought it.
Also dont forget the 1985+ turbo2 Omni, Daytona, Spirit.....Ugly as sin, unreliable, FWD....but fast as hell for their underrated 147hp.

you guys are claiming 380+ hp in cobras with stock tunes?
still dont believe it. who goes to a dyno pays to have it on the rollers and doesnt adjust the factory tune. everyone in the SVT community knows the ford s/c vehicles rspond well to tuning so a tuned car i wouldnt call stock

ill 2nd the omnis too, they are really fast suprisingly my friend is an omni guru, but ive witnessed them all blow up (guess that happens wheen you bleed the boost on an otherwise stock car)

Everyone dynos their car before/after. I was 379/391 stock and 459/457 with a 2.93 upper, C&L, and dyno tune.
The 03-04 is very well known to dyno 360-380ish stock.

not saying i dont believe you but id like to see it ive seen MANY do 360-370 stock but none higher than 380 to my knowledge. and 30hp on the dyno is HUGE numbers to be varying, granted s/c motors arnt consistent but still 30hp
and again this is to my knowledge ive seen a handful stock and have yet to see one of these freaks and im not trying to shunn the cobra because bottom line it is badass

im saying it to the guys with 390 to the wheels ive never seen one break 372 out of 7 that ive seen stock so 379 is believable i just havnt seen anything that close to 390 off the line

L88 Corvettes were grossly underated at 430 hp. They were more like 550-600. The ZL1Camaros and Vette were also grossly under rated as well. L89 Vettes/Chevelles etc were probably as well. All in the name of insurance...
