How is the condition of the car? 12 is a little high in this market unless the car looks damn good and doesn't have anything wrong with it. But that is just my personal opinion

condition is good it is midnight blue. and other than being a t top it is one i have been wanting. I would like to change the headers unsure on the brand and the exhaust way to low but other than that.

For a 2000 factory stock car, SS or Z-28 with 54,000 miles I would'nt pay more than $10,000. In my opinion the more mods a car has the cheaper it becomes. Has he upgraded to a 12 bolt or 9" rear? Because at that power level the stock rear wont last long and theres another $2000-$2500 more you'll have to spend. Good luck

I sold my 98 ss today for 8000. and went and bought it has all the original paper work window sticker also. Really around here for the mileage it looked like a good deal. And it has a ls6 block no bullseye

I never understand why people that don't like t-tops. I love taking the tops out of mine, I think they look better with the tops out. If you don't like them, just keep them in. If it's the sealing of them after time that's got you against them, get an STB and some SFC's.

its just preference i just happen to like the hardtops just like some like verts. U couldnt give me a vert. I really wished i knew what cam was in it. It was just dyno tuned by ed wright he got it to 435 hp and 416 trq. He said if he knew what cam it was for sure he could get a little more out of it.

If the car is very clean inside/out I would say its worth it.

Anyway, congrats on the new purchase !

Did he put the cam in it? I would never buy a car that had a cam that the guy installed and he didnt know what it was. Bolt ons are different but when your talking about goin internally in an engine there could be problems latter on if other upgrades were not done, such as pushrod length, oil pump, springs, etc. and the only real way to know would be to go in and check it/redue it. And if you blow an engine your looking at high repair costs even if you do all the work yourself. I would have to get a steal on the car otherwise just not worth it IMO, but thats just me, and like what has been said A car like that probable wouldnt get much more then 12 in this economy, he needs to realize that although mods cost money they usually dont increase then value (if anything lower it) ESPECIALLY when they dont know what parts are in the car

well the guy bought it from a guy that had all the work done buy a shop in texas and texas speed tuned it. Then he had ed wright re dyno tune it and he picked up 20 hp. has all the paper work on the ed wright dyno tune. When he bought the car he didnt wright the cam specs down. Mainly know it has patiot heads whith there double valve springs. I raced my buddys frc tonight it has a 224 cam with 5.3 heads and it would pull him untill the famous 6 speed shifting issues . I need the tick mod now. the car pulls hard over 6500 easily.
