Well basically hears my story. Sold my 98 ss and bought my 00 SS on the 15th with heads and cam. Last monday went into town to get some plug wires. And then some t top covors from the salvage well the t top covors didnt match. Then on the way home got a flat and no spare of coarse. This is just a little taste went for a cruise with some buddys tuesday and getting on the highway my tranny blew. Finaly 900 dollars for the trans then 400 hundred for a new duel friction centerforce another 400 for my tick and speed bleeder. My car is at my buddys while its down because i live in a apartment. He calls me and says my ttop isnt on all the way. I go home at lunch to fix it and some one pried it open with a screw driver. And it got worse it broke my front winshield and they tried to pry the door open to scrathed the roof and door and the worst they tried to pry my hatch open with the screw driver. Well it tore the paint up and put like 7 or 8 dents from the prying. They tore the $hit out of my new baby. I think my car needs a excorcism. I just wish i new who it was so i could smash someones face so bad. They couldnt get in atleast I had my battery unpluged so the alarm didnt go off. Whats sad about all this I got people who sale crack outside my apartments and never had my car messed with. My friend lives in a nice neigborhood.

Wow.. That does suck man. You should be able to turn that in on your insurance though. Hopefully you can get the car fixed and uncursed at the same time.

Hang a nice GPS in the windshield with the door unlocked and wait for them in the shadows with an AK-47. If you were closer you could barrow mine.

That sucks for sure man.

For everyone one that says "insurance will cover it" mustve not done much research. Most companies WONT cover the stereo **** unless you tell them about it and its part of the policy...I know for a fact geico is like that.

Good luck on getting it fixed up and make sure to report that **** to the police so if they get caught stealing **** around there again they and you will know who did it and can press charges.

i had full coverage with 500 dollar deductible. The bad thing is it is 2 seperate claims the first night was the damage then the 2nd night the stealing the stereo stuff. Im not to big on the subs but they were in the car when i bought it and they are fiberglassed to the car. I got the original reciepts from the shop that did all the work and the stereo stuff cost right at 2000 dollars. The guy at the shop new the car and the previous owner and told me everthing about it and got me all the reciepts. Yeah my insurance said the stereo stuff i will hae to claim on my home insurance. And deffintly thought about baiting them and then taking a bat to there hands and knee caps and i wont say what else i would due.

FOR GOD SAKES I HAVENT EVEN MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT ON THE CAR.

yeah we all commented on how much of a dumbass thief they were come on your not going to pry the rear hatch or door open with a screw driver.fbodys are easy to get in didnt need all that damage. And they will get theres i will find them if it is the last thing i do. My buddy has a guy next door who has some lowlife friends who he could of told. And he has been acting real funny.

lets hope u dont get screwed on insurance like my province does to everyone here. They DONOT cover any stereo theft that worth over a grand(they will give u upto a grand though). its assinine. To make it worse u cant get tertiary insurance to backup your province enforced upon either.

Criminals go to nicer neighborhoods to steal stuff, would you rather steal a new BMW stereo or a 1982 Caprice classic from the ghetto? Sorry to hear about that, I usually like to smoke a cigarette out side my car with my AR slung around me when I come back from the range. Both my neighbors have been robbed not me lol

i wish somebody would try to **** with my car. We live in a nicer neighborhood but the best thing about the south= EVERYONE has ALOT of guns. Lol If someone tried to break into my car there'd be warning shots off before they even set the alarm off. I had my truck egged twice before sitting right in my driveway. I had a pretty good idea of who did it, it was a kid from school who liked to act like a friend of mine but i could see right through him. I told him to come "hang out" at the house one day and did as i do with alot of my friends, i showed him the guns. Weird thing, my truck never got egged again. You gotta love SC's assbackwards laws
