Car doesn't run right after P&P throttle body?

Car doesn't run right after P&P throttle body?

I put a ported and polished throttle body on my car today and it runs great from a dead stop, but if I floor it from 40 or so the trans doesn't down shift. Do I need a tune for the throttle body?

Most A4 cars won't downshift to 1st from a 40 roll unless you have tweaked the transmission tune. I believe the effective limit with stock 3.23's is 41MPH max downshift to 1st, but that isn't the stock tune.
