So lately I've been noticing that when I shift from fourth to fifth, there's a grinding feeling...didn't think much of it until today, when I was trying to shift from fourth to neeutral, and the shifter was just stuck. I stopped the car, tried to get it to first, second, nothing; the shifter is stuck, and if I try and shift all I feel is grinding coming from the shifter.

Car just hit 50K, had the tranny serviced, oil changed, everything...

So basically, is my tranny done for?

Prolly synchros which calls for a tranny pull. Get the upgraded bronze synchros, Contact somebody like Tick on here who does trannys and they can help you out......
