Default Rear end quesiton

I've got a werid question here but hopefully someone can help. Would a rear end out of an Fbody fit into a blazer/jimmy? I found a 95 Jimmy that needs one and I know I can find one cheap on this site. If they are interchangeable it would be worth it for sure. Anyone know what kind of gears a truck like that would have stock?

More importantly would be width, bolt pattern for wheels, and suspension hook-ups. The last thing thats important would be gear ratios.

lug pattern is the same, don't know about the width. Most S-10's used leaf springs and I'm sure the shocks are mounted differently. However, the internals should swap over, except maybe the axles, depends on what spline the jimmy has on the carrier whether you'd have to buy new axles or not. Most of the 4 cylinders had a 3.73 ratio, don't know about the six cylinders.

Good info guys, I think leaf springs would be an issue. i thought about that right after I posted. I found some direct replacements cheap to.
