Default What to do this weekend?

Alright guys, as you may know I just picked up a 02 Z28 with 76K miles. I have planned on tommorow being a maintenance day. I plan to:

Take car to dealer to check out clogged cats (get them replaced)
Seafoam
Fix small driverside t-top leak
Call my PDR guy.

Is there anything else you would recommend for a almost 80K car maintenance wise?

Plugs/wires/fuel filter. Clean air filter and MAF. Just eliminate all the little stuff that could cause you problems. And I agree, take it to the track!

Sorry for being a complete newbie at this LS1, but how would i go about cleaning the MAF? I can get some CRC MAF cleaner. I dont know where the MAF is located, anyone have a picture. Also my air filter is just a stock paper replamcent. How would i go about cleaning that?

Thanks for all your help.

MAF is located in between your intake and throttle body, I never cleaned mine so I dont know about cleaning it besides just wiping it out.

Buy a K&N air filter, way better and you can reuse them.

Although his sig is awesome, and I too have stood in front of the man in dress blues for driving too fast on base, I would not take his advice on this one.

On the MAF, remove it from the intake tube but do not take it apart. Spray the hell out of it with the MAF cleaner and let it air dry. That's it. Do not touch the sensors as they are delicate.

To clean your air filter, buy a new paper filter. The K&N filters are not woth the money on the LS1 and they cause mucho problems with MAF sensors when not cared fore properly.

I second this. Don't bother with the K&N air filter.
