Im looking for a dd until i can save up enough money to rebuild my 96 trans am which should be around Feb but I need a car now. Ive been looking in the 6k price range for another lt1 but seen this around my house and was thinking about picking it up. The dealership dropped another grand off that price and im oing to try and bring them down some more. The car looked really clean no rust ripped seats or any of the usual stuff you see on high mile cars. My question is how reliable are the ls1s? and what should I look for when test driving this car? would you guys recommend a car with this many miles.

A friend of mine has a 02 z28 with 150k and he drives the hell outa the car with no problems. Ls1's can go into the 250k mark with proper maitnence. i would get a car fax, compression test, check the oil, and other fluids. etc. decent price though
