Default Gotta ship an engine.

Does anyone know the best way to ship a crated engine from michigan to florida? Fed Ex wants 700$. i am trying to make it affordale for the buyer. If you have any suggestions please help!!!!

I just shipped one through Conway Freight. No heads.

Pallet, engine and stands weighed 268 lbs.

It cost me $262 to ship from Los Angeles to PA.

I used ebay engine shipping stands.

Had mine shipped on HSF Holland, from Wisconsin to Ohio was only $125

That's a great price. I did forget to mention that mine was shipped to a residence and required liftgate service, both of which raised the cost considerably. I think lift gate was $85 of the cost and residential was $50 (or vice versa).
