Difference between lq4, lq9, and ls2 I understand that the lq4 and lq9 have an iron block, where the ls2 has an aluminum. I also understand that the increased power in the lq9 is achieved though increased compression ratio (meaning that the lq4 would be better for a forced induction application).
Now, aside from that what are the differences? Do they come with the same heads? Do they come with the same cams? What are the exact power differences between the three. Would any of the three be a direct bolt in to a stock f-body?
