![Question](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have doing searchs all morning and cannot find the answer. I have a 94 Z-28, but I just bought a 2000 SS A4 could not pass up this deal. I know that on the LT cars we have to reprogram the pcm if we change the rear gears, but I cannot find what I need to do to put 4:10s in my SS it has 3:73 but they have gone south. I have a rearend with 4:10s in it and I want to put it in the car till I can save up to fix the other rearend This car will not be a DD so I don't care about the gas mileage. I know the answer is out there in a tread, but I need to get going on this fast so I can sell my 94. Thanks for any input.

You can send your pcm off to a tuner, or find one locally that can tap in and swap gear ratios in the program. Or you can just drive with the speedo off for a bit. Shifts may be a tad off on the trans but not much, it will be very driveable.

i would just go into the regional section here and make a thread with your request for someone with hptuners.
i've helped out people like that a few times. it just costs them about $100 for the credits + whatever they feel their time is worth.
