Default Clear Valve Covers

I has these on my old skool 383 stroker and everyone loved them. Does anyone make them for the LSx?

Another thing I had that was cool was a clear distributor cap, but I guess that's a moot point

I don't know if they make them, but you would also have to get a coil relocation kit otherwise you aren't going to see much with the coils in the way. My cousin had a clear distributor cap on his 3rd gen a few years ago and that was pretty cool. This is the first time I've seen the clear valve covers.

How long before you can't see through the covers anymore I wonder...?

they're kinda cool, i'd imagine when it's running you'd just see a bunch of black when the oil coated the inside though. could you make a video of it running?

Hmmm.... Funny because I seen these out along with the clear distributor caps way before I seen any clear timing covers that the DOHC Rice cars use.

Comp had a sick car on the Power tour this year with clear valve covers...can't remember if it was an LS motor or traditional. I'll consult my picture library

I think it's pretty cool, kind of like the clear air lids that guys had plumbed with nitrous.

Hell yeah! These would look sick with a clear air lid to match!

I looked but could not find it, so I might have dreamed it, lol, but I thought either Cloyes, Pete Jackson or Jesel made a clear timing cover.

It's a 1964 or '65 Chevelle, two tone black and red. Guy lives around here and I've seen the car several times. It's pretty cool.

Pretty sure it had a carb and definitely old-style heads & valve covers just like in the first post. I've never seen any for the centerbolt valve covers.

Pretty cool, but it would probably white over after a few heat cycles. It would have to be heat resistant, oil-shedding, and transparent. Definitely a reason to pop the hood though.

Damn that engine looks good! I seem to like that look more that I do of the one I posted. I need to get a set of the A/M covers since they are taller and send them to my Bro and see if he can do anything with them.

are there any clearance issues with the taller aftermarket VC's. The ones on fleabay really look nice.
