I like to attack any project with the ole 6 P's: Proper Planning Prevents **** Poor Production. This led me to create this thread and ask guys that know more about LS1's than me if im on the right track with this build plan to ensure plenty of HP production!

The car is a stock 01 SS Camaro M6. It will be a DAILY DRIVER, however lots of noise and a bucking cam doesn't bother me. My goal is 450-500 HP N/A with NO spray. My first question is my budget of a flexible $10,000 enough to achieve this with DEPENDABLE parts? My second question is what brands would you go with and what would you add/change to the list of mods I have in mind below?

Here's a list of things I think I will need:

Engine/Exhaust/Tranny:
Lid
Heads,Cam (what would be a good match? I love the sound of the MS3 and MS4)
springs, pushrods, and rockers
Oil Pump
Fast 90 or 92?
Headers
True Duals (probably dumped before axle)
Tune ofcourse
Monster clutch

Chassis
9 in Moser rear end with 4.10's
sway bar
sub frame connectors
springs and shocks (would like mostly drag oriented)

add a double row timing chain, rod end lower control arms to prevent wheel hop. electric water pump would free up some pony to. im sure theres more the possibilities are endless
