im looking into buying the bbk intake manifold and 80mm throttle body package they have. now how much of a difference would that make at the wheels over the stock ls6 setup. mods ive got is a 383 heads mild cam 228 .585 lift headers 36lbs injectors and the other basics. thanks for the help guys

Why do you want the Metal Intake..do you plan on Spraying?

The LS6 one is pretty damn good as it is..

I'd just go with a LS6 intake and ported tb.

ls6 with a 90mm snout FTW ill never get a f.a.s.t intake ever, and dont get a metal intake theyre heavier and retain more heat

But yeah OP don't waste your money on a BBK, an LS6 is a better choice with your mods.

If you don't have the cash at the moment for the F.A.S.T. then just go with a LS6 don't mess with BBK.......

I am guessing he is meaning it is an expensive piece of plastic but they pop up used pretty reasonable now and then. I bet you will see more now the 102 is out. I got my 90/90 pretty reasonable 3 years ago....

honestly idk i just have a thing against em they are quite expensive and it seems everyone has one and i dont like having the same thing as everyone else, thats why i like the ls6 with a 90mm snout on it cuz i dont know anyone else who has it

I'm all for being unique, but in this case there is a good reason why everyone has them. There is also a good reason why nobody puts a 90mm TB on an LS6. Though I do agree the FAST intakes are stupidly expensive.

no im talkin a 90mm snout on al ls6 intake not a 90mm tb on a 75mm stock ls6 intake that would just be silly

Stick with the LS6, weighs a lot less, and you won't see any more power on a stock motor.

You already got a few but expect the "get a fast or nothing" posts coming. Ive heard good things about the BBK and it looks a lot better then the LS6...so far im very happy w/ my typhoon, saw some definite gains in the butt-o-meter....dyno #'s to come.
