you pay $168 a month total on the truck, so that leaves $132 for gas, food and going out. You can spend that much just going out one night. BTW Im 21 and pay $350 a mo for my Z28 and $400 a mo for my 06 F150

i dont even think a bank will give you a loan under 18 because its a legal binding contract. also in an lt1 or ls1 f-body your going to spend atleast $200 a month on gas alone (depending on how far you drive) i bought my 98 trans am when i was 17 in high school, but then again i had saved $5000 before i bought it and sold my other car for $3000, my parents let me pay off the other $1500 to them. i was able to afford it because i was making $650-850 a month working longer hours and on a job with commission.

Shop around, my insurance dropped even more when I LEFT my parents policy.
No one else will even insure me unless I have another car as a primary and some places wont let me have my own policy at my age so I really don't have any choice. Once I get another project car I will have that insured and put the T/A as secondary and that should drop it quite a bit.

It sucks but I love my car.
