F-Body Jack&Spare Assembly
I'm looking at buying a brand new jack and spare for the WS6. Does anyone have any idea as to what part number it may be OR what other vehicles did GM put in an identical unit in?

I don't have my spare or jack in the car anymore. I would rather call a tow truck to take me to Discount, rather than risk my life with a scissor jack I wouldn't trust to jack up my couch.

haha Those little jacks are good for about half a tire change before they start collapsing. They are not safe at all.

When I 17 or so, my girlfriend's Sebring (slightly related to ls1tech since it looks exactly like a Camaro) had a flat tire. I jacked it up, and the scissor jack started twisting. I changed the tire out like I was on Jimmy Johnson's pit crew because I didn't know if the jack was going to collapse. The scissor jack sheared in half shortly after I got the spare on.
I haven't used one of those POS jacks since then. I would rather tow the car some place than risk my life. Needless to say, my car does not have a spare, or jack.

I keep it just in case, and I dont know how you guys are changing your spares but I never go under the car to change a flat, and alot quicker then callin a tow truck. As to the OP I would post up in the WTB section or look on craigslist of Ebay just specify you want one thats never been used.
