What Corvette O2 sensors to use on my Camaro?
Vehicle: 99 Camaro LS1
This weekend im installing my new high flow pipes with cats and i wanted to change the O2 sensors that are currently installed. I heard that most people recommend to get the Corvette O2 sensors since they have a long wire to plug into the harness.
What year Corvette O2 sensors should i get for my Camaro?
My current O2 sensors that i have installed in the Camaro are also from a Corvette as they have the long wire but they were already installed when i purchased the vehicle. So now that im upgrading the exhaust pipes might as well put in new sensors.
any help is appreciated.

The O2 sensors you need for the front with the longer wire is Bosch 13111. Now most people do or don't have a problem with them but you will have to try them and find out for yourself. Every car is different though. You should be able to keep and use your rear O2 sensor's they just monitor the cats and that's about it or tune them out if they give you trouble.

cool, i read that most people don't recommend the Bosh but to rather get the Denso as they function much better.
I been having the service engine soon light on which its indicating that i need to replace my cats. So since i bought a complete high flow system with cats i deicided to put new sensors all the way around.
The camaro has four oxygen sensors right.

Yes it does you can run the bosch 13111 for the front cause they are the longer and then get you two regular camaro O2's for the rear or as autozone or where ever you get them from they are the two downstream sensors which means that it is after the cats.

Get rear sensors for a C5 (97-04). I bought a pair of them used from a guy who took them off his Corvette. They've been working great so far - no codes after 1000 miles. I wasn't so lucky with brand new short Densos on extensions ... they started throwing codes right away.

My tuner told me to stay away from Bosch...on a stock car I never had any issues with them. Now that I'm boltons cam nitrous and soon to be heads my tuner said Densos because they read the AFR faster than the Bosch ones do. I have no idea if its true but I went with denso and have had ZERO problems.

SES still on
my SES light has been on for longer than usalle. so I tryed cleaning the air fliter, sprayed the MAF w/ MAF cleaner, sprayed the (allmost clean TB) w/ a little throttle boby cleaner. my AC delco spark plugs have 18K miles (trying to avoid fooling w/ that hand shredder).
crawled under the car removed the pass. side O2 the Bosh 13111 only has 2 slits and they where both open and the tip of the O2 only had a lite black dusty carbon deposits that rubbed off w/ my finger.
note: strange thing I observed oil blowby in my secondary oil catch can after the double chambered catch can that was totalley dry. I try a new truck type PVC ( since it's part of emmsions crape).
edit remember my Bosh 13111 have 40K miles.
Thanks
