sounds like for you, i might pick the V. id love to own both, but it comes down to your opinion.

btw, i called my agent, and a 02ish C5 would only cost me $16 a month more (full coverage) than my camaro.

Well if it was a 'Vette I could afford it would be C5, can't stand the way they look, so I would have to love the performance, Z06. Really don't like the way it looks, so I guess I'd have to spend the whole time driving it. LOL.

If it came down to the Camaro or the Fire-chicken it would had have to be the WS6, used to love the way it looked, but just not my thing anymore.

Just a funny old story from a few years back. My friend and the owners (Tom and Jim) of the company I worked for had a Camaro SS, Their friend Steve bought an NSX and asked Tom if he wanted to drag one day. Tom ripped him a new one, so Steve went and traded in the NSX in for a 911 turbo, lol. One of my all time favorites, no I take that back, my all time FAVORITE. He let me drive it one day, I don't think I stopped smiling for a week.

Get the GTO,stay far away from the V or any cts.I have an 04 that I call the glassass.A k&n will put stress on the rear,I am on my third at 72,000.The 09 up may be ok but 04-07 are junk. They stoped production in 08 because warrantee work was so high on them.I tried to get GM to lemon law mine but all they would do was extend my coverage to 100,000.Do a search on this site and others and you will see its not an isolated problem. Its not like the old days when your dealer could say yours was the only one they have seen like that, all you need to know is at your fingertips.Or you can buy one,you know the saying misery loves company.

The GTO has the best seats GM has ever put in a production vehicle.

Will the Hendrix axles remedy the situation? I mean if I got to spend a little money to begin with to keep a car for looong time I will. As I said I think this one will be around for a while.

Idk, I'll keep doing the research. The wrx was pretty much 'cuz I needed a car, I loved them when they first came over. At the time my other car got destroyed and had to be replaced gas was over $4/ gallon here. So I loved the idea of the GTO, but didn't care to see my gas bill every month, lol.

Damn this decision is getting more and more difficult. Goats are definitely easier to find and found one in that blue and one in that orange with an M6 w/in reasonable driving distance. I must have spent a couple of hours on Craigslist last night looking for V's and GTO's.

Is the trunk in the GTO's really only 7 cu/ft or was that a typo?

So, has anybody ever shipped a car across the US before?

Due to the issues with the rear end and the fact that I hate having to fix the same problem over and over again, I'm kinda leaning towards the GTO. The mind can still change, don't get me wrong. I'm kinda picky about colors, the way it looks, finding a goat in Impulse Blue and Brazen Orange w/ an M6 isn't the easiest thing to do in my area, Cyclone Gray is also an option but I prefer the other two, especially the blue. I guess CA residents are too busy talking on the cell to learn how to drive a 400hp car with a manual tranny. I spent hours, cars.com, craigslist.org, etc. Not easy to find 'em close to home.

I don't think driving a 400hp car from NY or Mass this time a year sounds too fun. Especially when you have never driven in the snow/ice before. That and I have really bad luck with cars right after I buy 'em.
