Crate Motors: LSX376 or LS3 6.2?

Crate Motors: LSX376 or LS3 6.2? So i bought a 2001 T/A with high miles for dirt cheap. I'm building a fast daily driver, i have completely rebuilt the suspension and tranny, recovered the interior, and now am ready for a new crate motor. Do i go with the LSX376 or buy the LS3? They are both about the same price and i have about 10 or 15 grand to spend.

Build a 402 LS2 to keep the weight down over the nose if you are wanting to maintain your handling. Otherwise save some $$ and build an iron block. You can get a bullet forged block topped with some TFS or AFR heads for way less $$$ that will punch those motors in the nose.
