I will be getting some lts soon and my question is will I need a tune after the install? Only mods are magnaflow cat back, and lid. thx

Do you need a tune after headers? No, alot of guys drive around with LT's untuned for years until they do a cam or other bigger mods. But it will help your car perform at its maximum potential. Although it wont hurt anything

yea, I would check a few sponsors on this site, they usually have great deals. I remember when I ordered mine I got them for 500 shipped with the y pipe.

I never got a tune for my LT's. I did have to get my brother to delete some codes for me though like rear 02. The car ran great. I would have it tuned with bigger mods for best bang for buck

You will gain more power if you get the tune. However dont be afraid to buy longtubes if you can't afford the tune
