Default Sold my 2002 Z-28

Guys I just sold my Z-28..I miss it terribly, but I did replace is with a 2002 C5. I sold the Camaro back in January. I had bout it new just by chance...fully loaded. Loved the car and drove the hell out of it! I put 170K on it in the time we shared. The day I sold it, she looked brand new. It only KBB for 4,500 but I got $7000 for her! Needless to say I have felt empty ever since. I have test driven about every new camaro I can find at every dealership locally. I really love them. About two weeks ago, I passed a used car dealership and saw a yellow convertable 2002 C5 with 42K. I've never bought a used car but I thought I'd check it out. It was super clean and really nice. Had all the trim and it was an A4. That was kindof a bummer, but I still really like the car, so I went to the bank to check out a loan,(hadn't even driven the car yet,. They were askin 24,995 for it. By the time I got back some guy had already put down a deposit. I was heart broken. I thought I will never be able to afford a new camaro SS and now I wasn't gonna find any type of muscle car. The thing that was attravtive about the Vette was the price.
Long story short, Ive looked at about every American Muscle Car out there, looking for a new toy to replace my Z-28. Luckily, I found a 2002 Yellow C5 coupe fully loaded with M6 and removable glass top. It only had 26K on it! I went and test drove, now it's in my garage! I really love this car! Just wanted to share with you all. Long live the LS1!!!

I am happy for you that you found a new toy...but I wouldn't call $24,995 an attractive price for an 02 vette. I have found numerous 04 Z06's with 40-50k miles for less than that. But I am glad that you got what you wanted and are happy with it

I have to agree, I know someone that had a blue 03 Z06 with 36000 miles & sold it for $25,000. Yea for that price I wouldve tried to find a Z06, but it sounds like your happy with what you got.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but I agree with what some have said. Honestly I would take a F-body over a base C5. For the price you should've tried to find a C5 ZO6. Oh well... If you're happy then that's all that matters.
