Default LS3 hp numbers on horsepower tv

So i was watching horsepower tv on spike this morning and they were puting a e-rod ls3 from gmpp into a gtm super car. Well the interesting thing is they put it on there engine dyno with camaro manifolds, cats, wireing harness, and pcm. There dyno said it made 495hp and 460tq thats alot. The engine is of course rated at 430hp 424tq. They didnt run accessires and they had a big 6inch k&n type filter on it. Just thought those number were pretty interesting i dont know if haveing an open filter and no accessires would pick up that much power but i thought i would share that.

Maybe it did not have the tune the 2010's have. But yea that seemed really high. The tune has to have something to do with it.

No factory freak U take the accessires off the LS-3 and it will free up a lot of HP. My 2010 SS M6 w/ just LT w/cats,factory mufflers,SLP underdrive pully,Rotofab air intake and a tune is 430/431 to the tires.

engine dyno right? so there was no trans or rear hooked to it? if so that explains those high numbers.
