Learned a valuable lesson today about buying used parts!!!!
Well i learned a valuable lesson today about buying used parts and that valuable lesson is dont do it...bought a used ls7 clutch with 9,000 miles on it for my nitrous install....local company today started doing the install and come to find out the clutch isnt even designed to go in a f-body....so not sure what in the hell the seller sold me...so needless to say im out $300....and then had to buy a new ls7 clutch....anyone else ever had anything like this happen to them

It is almost always a crap-shoot when buying used parts... There are people out there always trying to scam you... That doesn't mean that there aren't good sellers out there!!!! Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have been very lucky when buying things used.. The only questionable transaction I had was... I bought a Yank Converter that was supposed to be a Yank SS 4000. When I had it restalled this year, I found out it was a Pro Thruster not an SS. Not so much of an issue because the Converter was in excellent shape!!!

it just really sucks because i kinda stretched myself financially to get my nitrous install and it really sucks when i get a call saying the clutch doesnt work u need to buy a new clutch....so i had to fork out an extra $300

Yea well if the seller sold this guy an LS7 clutch for an Fbody & he sent him a flywheel to go with it somethings wrong with that picture. I bought one of these on ebay & had no problems. Problem is the buyer waited too long to confirm he got (or didnt get) the right parts.
