It is almost always a crap-shoot when buying used parts... There are people out there always trying to scam you... That doesn't mean that there aren't good sellers out there!!!! Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have been very lucky when buying things used.. The only questionable transaction I had was... I bought a Yank Converter that was supposed to be a Yank SS 4000. When I had it restalled this year, I found out it was a Pro Thruster not an SS. Not so much of an issue because the Converter was in excellent shape!!!

did you use the LS2 flywheel like your supposed to? they only make 1 LS7 clutch and it fits F-bodies, you just cant use the LS1 flywheel.

if it is infact an LS7 clutch, there is no reason it wont fit with the LS2 flywheel.

i think this is a case of the buyer not doing his research and a shop not knowing LS stuff.

they only made one LS7 clutch and it works on f-bodies with the right flywheel.

that doesnt mean its the right flywheel. the LS7 clutch works with the correct flywheel. there is no reason it shouldnt. you didnt get fucked on the clutch, maybe the flywheel but not the clutch.

Yea well if the seller sold this guy an LS7 clutch for an Fbody & he sent him a flywheel to go with it somethings wrong with that picture. I bought one of these on ebay & had no problems. Problem is the buyer waited too long to confirm he got (or didnt get) the right parts.

thats why i said he got fucked on the flywheel. there is no LS7 clutch for a different application. they are all the same. it all comes down to the flywheel as to wether it fits the car or not.
