I'am looking for a hood for my 99 formula. I thought carbon fiber might look OK. Anyway they come finished and I always could have it painted? The car is that teal green blue color.........What do ya think.....riceburnerish?

Im sure some people will call you a ricer on here if you do that and not paint it. Personally I think a cf hood looks really good on just about any color car, its just knowing when to stop and not going overboard making everything cf. But at the end of the day its your car and you should do what you like b/c your never going to make everyone happy

It's cool to have it painted and say it's actually carbonfiber? How bout, where the scoops are. Leave it carbonfiber ( like carbon fiber stripes) and have the rest of the hood painted and cleared would look pretty awesome!

But, if you would like my opinion...
I am absolutely not a fan of the look of Carbonfiber. If you slap an unpainted CF body panel on your ride, be it a muscle car or a rice burner, it looks cheap and unfinished.
If you go CF, please paint it.
But again, we are not talking about my ride or pleasing me. So what you need to be concerned with is whether or not you like it. Thats all that matters.
Good luck with your choice.
