Its a very reliable car, if treated well. I've seen plenty of LS1's on here with 200,000+ miles, and i believe it. Every chevy car i have owned, is dead nuts reliable if serviced normally, and not beat on.

Very durable engines, pretty durable tranny and rear-ends made out of recycled newspaper.
Seriously, for the power/cost ratio, the LS1 4thGens are extremely solid and trouble-free.
