And that 140hp Ecotec isn't so bad in a 2600lb car....certainly beats the hell out of a base model Civic.
They do a pretty good job on the roads. Funny how fuel efficient some of these older cars are, even before the fuel economy push. My dad has been doing contract work for some outfit that installs the 3G/4G network around the Midwest region. He has driven that little Cavalier from Northern Indiana to Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, and all regions of Indiana at this point, and he loves it. He always says it isn't much to look at, but he never worries about people wanting to steal it.

Sorry for the off-topic sidebar. I'm in agreement with the majority here. Ditching the LS car in favor of something more "reliable" doesn't seem to fix the real issue. I can relate to the "not wanting to drop more money into it" sentiment though. I'm reaching that crossroad with my truck, as it is bleeding coolant, again...

Rsx??? Trade your t/a for a rsx is like beyond gay unless you put up the coat for good. I say strip the t/a of its ls1 and wait till you have the funds to put the ls3 your talking about in it.
