My credit union wouldn't lend the cash for a car older than 4 years old. You would have to take out a personal loan in order to buy a older car. Luckily for me I could borrow money from my annuity or pension fund. It is def a battle to get a older car. Good Luck!

They were the ONLY financial organization that didn't turn tail and run on my '00 Z28 that I purchased back in '07. My interest rate is a tad high, but at $300/mo. on the note, I really can't complain. Not to mention she's always there in the garage when I get home from work

My lender would only give me up to the trade in value of the vehicle, no more then 75k miles and at 60 months it was 6% and this was last september. So that would make the vehicle 7yrs old.
