Default Afr head pricing

What is the go with the 205 and 225 heads being the same price for like 7 odd years or so ? and you never see any specials on them? Not bitching about the price just after looking around at heads all the other brands have some sort of deal going at some stage.

They are good heads what do you expect :o

They move product on the merit of their performance, not price.

Yeah they are expensive as I just dropped soem cash for some 215's, but I guess I was sold on the history and quality/performance.

Like other manufacturers; AFR has a major presence in the aftermarket and wants to make sure the brand integerity is maintained. They simply don't allow any of their distributors to publish sales, GP's or any prices lower than suggested retail. With that said, a distributor may reduce the price if you call them. So it's worth a try.

On a similar note, I've seen a good deal on some new 225's on another forum, so it's always worth it to look in the classified.

You get what you pay for my friend. If you want a nice budget head go with PRC's.
