Default What to do next??

I have an 01 z28, and currently the car has Longtubes, an ORY pipe, a borla catback, torquer v.2 cam, yank 3600 stall, rpm stage iv trans, slp lid, and m/t drag radials. I'm not exactly sure what to do next though. My first thought would be some suspension components, but i have no idea what to look for. This car is kinda a weekend warrior. My second thought would be to install a nitrous kit and run a small shot, but I'm worried how the car would hold up to that with 120,000 miles. Another option I know is heads, but I don't want to lose Any streetability and they are so expensive, and I have no idea which would be best for a street setup. And the only other thing I was thinking of would be a fast intake, but they are also pretty expensive for what I've seen th give power wise. Should this be my next mod so that my car can breathe better before doing nitrous or heads?? Any input is appreciated! Thx guys

For a weekend warrior, I would do heads. I'm not sure why you think you lose a lot of streetablilty. As long as your tune is good than you should be fine.

Ya i'm definitely leaning towards the spray. Any complete kits out there you guys would recommend on the stock fuel pump? I'm basically just looking for a kit that comes with everything, don't care about what brand.

well, since you were worried with your car having 120k miles, i dont think i would opt for the spray. i would just add heads. since your running a TSP cam, just add there 5.3 heads..should be like 11-1200 bucks i think.

you may want to do a comp check on your motor before you go adding more power.your miles arent that high, my car has 141k on it and still runs like a champ doesnt smoke even on the 150 shot at full throttle and made 549rwtq on a 150 shot thru a 9in and heavy wheels.so you can definatly add more power for your money with spray.now as far as brands i run a nos efi fogger wet kit,im shure theres better kits out there but i bought my kit used and extremely cheap.

Just curious as to why this would be a better choice? Just as far as being easier on the engine? I was simply leaning towards the spray because it's about half the price of heads and makes more power. But if it's going to be really hard on the car then I guess I would safe up the extra money for heads. But do heads affect driveability at all? I know my car is mainly used on the street, so when I chose my cam and stall I had that in mind. Sorry I'm kinda clueless when it comes to the heads. I've tried researching but I go in the internal motor section and just get overwhelmed if it's anything other than cams. Haha.

heads was definitely my first thought, i was looking at the tsp 5.3 heads that they have. but then i started looking into the spray and it just seems like so much power on the cheap.. will the spray be that much harder on the motor if i just run like a 50 or 100 shot? and the car would not be sprayed often. it isnt even drove except for in the summer. really its kind of a money thing right now being in college. the car runs great for the miles, most people think it has about half as many as it does. it has great compression. but if the heads are a much better choice, then i guess i will go that route. basically here are the two options i am looking at.

For heads:

or for nitrous
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...5&product=3907

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...1&product=3481

not really sure on the exact differences on these. i know the second one is a dry setup, is the first one a wet setup? is there a big advantage in running the first over the second if im wanting to run a 50-100 shot?

Correct, the first kit is wet the second is dry. If you choose the dry kit you will have to upgrade injectors and fuel pump which will also cause you to get a retune. For what you are trying to do I would choose the wet kit, you could probably get by with stock injectors and just a fuel pump upgrade which would not require a retune. I'm in the process of spraying y car now with a kit from Nitrous Outlet, if you have more questions shoot me a pm. The nitrous section has a ton of good info on there, I've been reading for months in order to get my setup right.
