I just read this on msn.com. G.M. is offering a special option for new zr-1 or z06 buyers to come to the plant and help build the engine that will be in their new vette. At the cost of 5800 bucks.

I think it would be cool to help put it together, but there is no way I would pay them to do some of the work for them. I would think with the money you shell out for one they outta give you that option at no charge. other than your travel and lodging. Which by the way is not included in that 5800 price, but it does include a one night stay in a hotel.
