Default please help,what is this

changed my oil today and this was stuck to my magnetic drain plug.what does this look like to you?stock ls1 long block 141k miles.its hollow if that helps

what motor and year is your car? is there any mods done to it?

is the car making any noises at all, running rough, anything?

It looks like it's been cut on the smaller side. Is it magnetic?

it stuck to my magnetic drain plug,and my car is a 99 ls1,not really runnin any different. i spray a 150 shot through it every weekend just freaked me out a little when this came out.

Look like the bottom of the dipstick tube.

it does,i hope thats all it is im so scared it might be something with the oil pump,but it still has good oil pressure.

A good way to be sure is to pull the dipstick tube out of the car. It just pulls out and has one supporting bolt if I remember correctly. Now that someone said that it does look like part of the oil stick, I really cant think of anything else it can be.

Yup it looks like trhe bottom of the dipstick alright but w/ that many miles its probally not from the one in your car now.
