Its not unreal for ebay kits to be that cheap. They are just that affordable these days.
DDM tuning has quality kits that I 'd prefer over a ebay seller though.
Check out the appearance and detailing section here on 'tech, lotta people use ddm hids.

If they crap out, buy more for $36! My car has ebay HIDs fog and headlights and they have never failed.

I also had them on my raptor quad for over a year before I sold it, and they saw creek water, dust, dirt, mud, vibration and lasted

Can someone post a few pictures of these installed in their fogs and/or low beams, and list the kelvin rating please. Also, I see this kit is rated at 35w and not the usual 55w, why is that?

Lastly, since our headlight housings don't have the appropriate reflector design to "cut-off" the hid beam pattern to prevent blinding on-coming traffic, how have you guys set-up your kits to avoid this problem?

Thanks in advance.........

If you could change, would you go with 5k bulbs instead? Do you have them in your fogs as well? Any chance of you taking a picture or two tonight and posting them?
Thanks for your reply......

They look impressively bright, guess I'm gonna give 'em a try. Do you have them for your highs, lows, and fogs? Is that overkill?

Btw, nice doggy.....pet him on the head for me.

Does the kit come with housings for the low beams? If not, how did you install them?

it comes with bulbs that are direct stock fit.put the bulbs in plug up the harness's and mount the ballast with the supplied two sided tape.shouldn't take more than 30 min for complete install.i pulled my headlights out and mounted the ballast on the plastic shroud before the radiator.you cant see any wires or ballast on my car.
