Spare Wheel Question
I've been on a search for a MINT spare wheel for my WS6 for the last few months with no luck. I recently bought an 01 Impala that to my surprise came with a never before used spare wheel/tire. I got all excited thinking I could simply throw the brand new looking wheel in my T/A and just swap em.
Little did I realize that W bodies have different bolt patterns than our cars and that was out of the question. What I need to know is what other cars come with the exact same spare as our cars. The wheel on my Impala PHYSICALY looks the same, but that is it.
Any help?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The W-bodies use the same bolt pattern as the E, H & C-bodies.... 115mm I think it is.
Actually, not much has used the 4.75" bolt pattern in recent memory. Guess that was phased out with the loss of the old RWD platforms. The B & D bodies would have used it, but those are even older than the last of the F-bodies and they would likely use different wheel sizes/backspacing.

I honestly cant man. I'm located in Hamilton Ontario and we dont have F bodies here. If I was looking for a mint spare off of a mustang.....not a problem. I called every wrecker, and nothing. Please let me know if you've got something. I'll come to Kitchener tomorrow!

I'm looking for something with zero marks/scratches/bumps/bruises on it. If the wheel has never been used *ever* that it shouldn't be a problem that it looks like this.
If someone has what i'm looking for please let me know.

How much are these things worth? I have my donut sitting in the garage; never been used. I was yanked out to make room for my amp and I have 2 full sets of tires (summer / winter) so I really don't see it getting used again.

I dont think there really worth that much. I would equate it to a LS1 intake. Since EVERYONE has one there not worth that much, but every now and then for some reason or another someone needs one.

What about this?
Brand new is about as mint as they come...
There's always someone parting out an F-Body in the classifieds. start asking them if they have the spare.

Lotus289-If your spare is really pristine, meaning no scratches, dings, marks, PM me!

True, I ordered a $12 ashtray from newgmparts.com and they notified me it would have to come from a vintage warehouse because it was discontinued. So in the end that stupid piece of plastic cost me $25

the real question is why the hell a mint condition spare is important? You cant see the thing without removing a panel anyways. Getting to it you risk screwing up those plastic screw things, so...why is mint important?

Striker: Try the Canadian classified. There are lots of guys in Tranna that race thier F bodies and someone certainly has a mint spare collecting dust in thier garage.
