Registered as "Unrepairable" What to do?

Cali is just out to get money. You can't not pay the fees and re-do the registration, you have to pay to register "non-op" and its only slightly cheaper.

They fucked me over and registered a car I sold back to me over a year later and now claim I owe them back registration fees. I told them to eat my ***. They'll probably end up garnishing my wages to get it.

Did my research and once you a car in CA is registered as nonrepairable, it can never be registered again. Only sold as parts or scrap. Thanks for the help guys

so buy it and part it out to get your money out of it. depending how cheap it is.

or you might be able to register the car out of state, and then re-register it in cali. I know a few people that have done that to get rid of california back tags
