Default Netting on back of front seat???

Just like the title says. What cars have the netting on the back of the front seat. I've only seen it on WS6 cars, but wondering if it came on non-WS6 TA's as well. I got a 98 and I don't have it. Just wanting to advance my f-body knowledge some more.

The netting comes on the leather seats with inflatable lumbar and bolsters. Each of my 94 Formulas had it. My 00 has non-inflatable leather seats without netting. My 01 sleek beak T/A had the inflatable seats with netting.

Magazine storage for the midgets or double leg amputees who can fit in the back.

the leather AQ9 articulating seats come with the netting and the plastic backs and sides. They are optional in the LS1 TA, but they are not standard on the formula/ V6 cars (I am unsure if they could have been ordered on the formulas or not?)

Edit, corrected information.

Have them on my '01 T/A vert (not a WS6). The wife keeps maps back there when our GPS isn't brought along.

They aren't standard in my 98. I've got the electric seats, but don't have the air up lumbar and all that.

Sorry, you are correct, they were a $155 option on the Trans Am's and not standard.

Its no funny thing, that actually most people cannot understand the wealth of information thats on a map. Even before the days of the common GPS, most people were still road map illiterate. I worked 2 separate jobs over a period of 2 years that entailed driving all day everyday.....map reading is something everyone should learn, at least for nostalgia sake.

I don't use mine for anything, don't want to stretch them. Nothing really is stored or used in my car anyway. I have seen some people stuff all sorts of things in them though. It was an option.

Maps are diagrams printed on paper (remember paper? It grew on trees) showing highways, byways, town & city locations, rivers and stuff. They were folded in a unique fashion that required you to have 3 hands with 6 fingers each, and an assistant. Full service gas stations used to give them out free. Remember full service gas stations? They were in existance about the same time period when that new fangled stuff called Synthetic Oil was looked upon with fear and loathing as the devil's handiwork.

Now answer my question: What's a GPS..........?

It's the devil's work!

Anyone else love the lumbar support? I always have mine at full power and it holds me in well.
